Looking for the next BiCon? See here!

BiCon 2004 has now finished

Promotional postcard image

Brilliant News With 273 people registered, this was the biggest BiCon in years, outclassing even the last time the International BiCon came to the UK!

The Line Bi Line art auction raised several hundred pounds to go to the BiCon 2005 Helping Hand Fund - thanks to all the bidders and artists.

We will shortly be adding links here to the websites of the many performers who kept you entertained by night like geekgirl and Tracey Browne. We'll also be putting up notes from some of the workshops and the content of the Community Info Zones.

Just now though, The core team of Gina, Jen, Matt and Natalya, who volunteered many months of their free time to put Manchester's second BiCon together, are enjoying finding out what having real lives is like once more.

2004 teeshirt

Also coming to this page soon will be a link for you to be able to buy BiCon teeshirts online in a variety of colours if you couldn't get one on the weekend itself - we sold out ever so quickly.

We were hoping to have a link for you to be able to buy BiCon teeshirts online in a variety of colours if you couldn't get one on the weekend itself - we sold out ever so quickly. Sadly the teeshirt printing company aren't being as helpful about this as they seemed before the conference.

Even if you missed BiCon 2004, you can keep in touch with the bi scene in the UK through Bi Community News magazine, and if you live in or around Manchester then the bi social support group BiPhoria is the perfect place to meet other bisexual people.

The next BiCon events will be in Summer 2005 (venue to be confirmed, probably Bristol or the England / Wales borders) and Summer 2006 in Glasgow. The ongoing BiCon hub is www.bicon.org.uk
